Association History
This group was created following a 20 year reunion of the First Persian Gulf War. 44 members of the 121st Security Police Flight were deployed to Sheik Isa AB in Bahrain from Dec. 1990 through April 1991. The reunion was hosted by Schmidt's Sausage Haus in Columbus Ohio in February 2011. After such a good time it was decided to continue this type of get together but include anyone who had ever served with the 121st Security Police (Air Police or Security Forces).
Thank you to everyone who participated in the "Welcome Home for the Troops" on May 19th 2012. We had over a hundred people in attendance and the Association was able to raise $ 1400 to assist our troops and veterans over the next two years. Recognition is due for Dan Laemmle who coordinated the site and local donations, Pete Adkins for his donations, Tom Geygan & Jimmie Cottrell for their assistance during the event. Jeff Peters for providing the pizzas.
We held our first official meeting on Jan. 14th 2012. Regrettably no pictures were taken.

Cookout at the "V" June 2011After a rainy start to the day, the weather cleared to allow for a great time. There was heated competition for the "Top Gun" trophy with Tom Geygan winning and Todd Huffman placing a very close second. Terry Kelly was able to stop by on his way to work and everyone enjoyed his visit. Challenge coins were presented to Tom Geygan and Dan Cockerham. Coins were also mailed to Pete Adkins and Scott Ackman. We were pleased to welcome two young men visiting to learn more about the association. I hope they had as much fun as the "oldtimers" did sharing stories. Rich Greenberg won the spice pack door prize and Pete Brickey won the grill and accesories. For those that couldn't join us you were missed, please join us when you can.
